Uganda Youth Forum
The Uganda Youth Forum (UYF) is a youth-focused organization in Uganda dedicated to empowering young people through civic education, leadership development, and participation in national development. The forum works to strengthen the role of youth in governance, social transformation, and community development by promoting values such as patriotism, responsibility, and active citizenship.
Founded to provide a platform for youth engagement, the Uganda Youth Forum seeks to inspire young Ugandans to contribute meaningfully to the country’s political, social, and economic progress.
Leadership of Janet Kataaha Museveni
Janet Kataaha Museveni, the First Lady of Uganda and Minister of Education and Sports, has played a key role in supporting and guiding the activities of the Uganda Youth Forum. Through her leadership and advocacy, the forum has emphasized the importance of youth involvement in shaping the future of Uganda.
Her engagement with the organization has helped strengthen youth awareness of national values, leadership responsibilities, and opportunities for participation in development initiatives.
